Our Data Methodology

Every salary figure on FairSalary.in is cross-verified from a minimum of three independent sources before publication. Our primary sources include AmbitionBox (community data), Glassdoor India, LinkedIn Salary Insights, Levels.fyi India section, Naukri job postings, and verified submissions from r/developersIndia and TeamBlind.

We use a percentile-based model (P10, P25, Median, P75, P90) rather than simple averages, which are easily distorted by outliers. We never blend service company and product company salaries into a single figure — a practice that makes competitor data deeply misleading.

Our Commitment

FairSalary.in will always be free to access. No login. No forced reviews. No corporate clients paying to suppress data. Our only revenue comes from non-intrusive advertising and optional premium tools. The data is for job seekers, by job seekers.
